Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with Power/Control specialization.
• Minimum 5 years in power systems engineering focusing on grid operations, smart grids, or distribution networks.
• Experience with SCADA, AMI, distribution automation, or grid modeling software.
• Strong understanding of grid stability, power flow, and protection principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop grid modernization strategies (smart grid, AMI, SCADA).
• Analyze grid performance data to identify improvements and solutions.
• Evaluate and implement distribution automation and control systems.
• Develop technical specs for grid equipment and software.
• Oversee integration of DERs into the grid.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and researchers.
• Ensure compliance with grid industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical expertise during planning, design, and implementation.
