Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in power systems engineering with grid modernization/renewables
• Proficiency with power system simulation tools (PSS/E, ETAP, PowerFactory)
• Knowledge of protection principles, SCADA, and smart grid tech
• Pr. Eng. or eligibility preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of power system studies: load flow, short circuit, stability, protection coordination
• Develop grid modernization strategies with DERs and energy storage
• Oversee equipment specification: transformers, switchgear, protection relays
• Conduct site visits for project evaluation and commissioning supervision
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation for stakeholders
• Collaborate with project managers, field engineers, and regulators to ensure success
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and stay updated on industry standards
• Stay abreast of grid modernization trends and best practices
