Placements24 in East London is seeking an experienced Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) to join our HR team. You will align workforce development with national skills requirements and company strategy.

You will identify training needs, develop and manage the WSP and training budget, ensure compliance with the Skills Development Act and SETA requirements, and liaise with SETAs. This role supports continuous learning and employee growth across the organization.

Formación

• Relevant qualification in HR, Training and Development, or related field.
• Accreditation as a Skills Development Facilitator (SDF).
• Minimum 4 years' experience in skills development, training facilitation, or HR with SDF duties.
• In-depth knowledge of the Skills Development Act and SETAs.
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) to join their organization in East London . You will be responsible for identifying training needs, developing training plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and funding bodies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analyses (TNAs) across various departments and job roles.
• Develop and manage the company's Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and annual training budget.
• Facilitate the implementation of training programs and initiatives to address identified skills gaps.
• Ensure compliance with the Skills Development Act, BEE regulations, and SETA requirements.
• Liaise with Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) regarding submissions, claims, and queries.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training interventions and their impact on employee performance and organizational goals.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field.
• Accreditation as a Skills Development Facilitator (SDF).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in skills development, training facilitation, or HR, specifically with SDF responsibilities.
• In-depth knowledge of the Skills Development Act and relevant SETAs.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
