Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) to guide organizations in learning and development initiatives. Based in or near Kimberley, you will align training with industry needs and ensure compliance with the Skills Development Act, advising employers and assisting with WSP/ATR submissions.

You will identify development opportunities for employees and support learners through learnerships and internships, working within a consultancy that serves clients

Qualifications

• Accreditation as an SDF by a recognized body.
• Strong understanding of the Skills Development Act and SETA regulations.
• Proven experience advising employers on development strategies and submissions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and knowledgeable Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) to guide organizations in their learning and development initiatives. Based in or near Kimberley, you will be instrumental in aligning training programs with industry needs and ensuring compliance with the Skills Development Act. This role involves advising employers, assisting with WSP/ATR submissions, and identifying development opportunities for employees. Join a consultancy focused on empowering businesses through strategic workforce development in the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise employers on skills development planning, including the development of Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs).
• Assist organizations with the submission of WSP and Annual Training Reports (ATR) to relevant SETAs.
• Identify training needs within organizations and recommend appropriate skills development interventions.
• Provide guidance on learnerships, internships, and other learnership opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements and industry standards for skills development.

Requirements
