Placements24 currently seeks a Social Development Facilitator for a hybrid role in Soweto. The role involves guiding individuals and groups through programs focused on empowerment, skill development and community engagement, via remote outreach and in-person workshops.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Social Sciences or related fields, proven facilitation experience, and strong communication skills to engage diverse community groups.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilitating training programs, workshops, or group activities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Ability to engage diverse groups via remote and in-person methods in Soweto.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate interactive workshops on topics such as financial literacy, job readiness, and life skills.
• Develop and implement program strategies to meet community social development needs.
• Provide one-on-one support and mentorship to participants toward personal and social goals.
• Organize and coordinate community events and outreach activities, both virtually and in-person.
