Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on SIEM experience with Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight.
• Strong understanding of security principles, networks, and threat intelligence.

• Scripting skills in Python or PowerShell are beneficial.
• Certifications like CompTIA Security+ or GIAC are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and optimize the SIEM for log collection and alerting.
• Monitor SIEM alerts and other security tools for suspicious activity.
• Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and recommend remediation steps.
• Develop and tune SIEM rules, dashboards, and reports.
• Collaborate with IT operations and incident response teams.
• Maintain SIEM documentation and procedures.
• Stay current with emerging threats relevant to the environment.
