Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in information security, preferably in security operations.
• Familiarity with security concepts, threat vectors, and attack methods.
• Experience with SIEM tools and log analysis techniques.
• Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and networks for suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
• Analyze security alerts and logs using SIEM tools to identify and investigate threats.
• Respond to security incidents, performing initial triage, containment, and escalation.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security controls, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and report on findings, assisting in remediation efforts.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of security procedures and protocols.
