Job summary

Clicks Group Limited in Centurion is seeking a front-line retail professional to execute POS operations, handle cash accurately and promote the clubcard program. You will enroll members, highlight promotions and deliver friendly, professional service.

The role requires basic maths, a retail/FMCG background, and good stock awareness. You will maintain merchandising standards and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Basic maths calculations.
• Retail/FMCG background and understanding of merchandising and promotions principles.
• Understanding of stock management procedures.
• Knowledge of customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment, including clubcard rewards.
• To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
• To promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to achieve targets.
• To make customers aware of promotions to positively affect sales and enhance the customer experience.
• To deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible and professional.
• To execute and maintain merchandising and housekeeping duties according to store standards.
• To support the Group’s vision as the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by living company values.
• To keep updated knowledge of products, ranges, promotions and events to provide correct information to customers.
