Job summary

Phakisa Holdings in Johannesburg's Heidelberg Suburbs is seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional with shipping experience to join a dynamic team. You will manage container stock preparations, supplier invoicing, export/import documentation, stock transfers, and daily liaison with stock controllers, couriers, warehouse, and branches to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Preperation of container stock with suppliers.
• Updates on supplier invoices and documentation.
• Reconcile and validate supplier orders.
• Completion of import and export documentation.
• Stock transfers and daily liaison with stock controllers.
• Updates to branches on container deliveries and transfers.
• Booking of container loadings and creation of shipping cost sheets.
• Work with GRNs, couriers, and warehouse controllers daily.
• Monitor delivery dates and manage foreign currency conversions.

Join a dynamic team in a leading company based in JHB - Heidelburg Suburbs. Seeking a detail-oriented individual with shipping and logistics experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preperation of Container stock with suppliers
• Updates on Supplier Invoices and documentation
• Reconcile and Validate Supplier orders
• Completion of Import and export documentation
• Stock transfers
• Liase with Stock controllers daily
• Updates to branches on container deliveries, and transfers
• Booking of Container loadings
• Create and capture shipping cost sheets
• Work with GRN's
• Liase with Couriers, and suppliers daily
• Liase with Warehouse controllers daily
• Constant monitoring to ensure efficient delivery dates
• Comfortable to work with foreign currency conversions
• General assistance to National Consumables Manager

Requirements:

• Shipping and logistics experience essential
