Job summary

Staff Unlimited Recruitment Pty Ltd T/A MPC Recruitment Group EC currently seeks hands-on Shift Setters with electrical or mechanical aptitude for our manufacturing/FMCG operations. The role emphasizes setting and adjusting machines, maintaining quality, and meeting efficiency targets in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years in production, an N3 qualification (N4 advantageous), and the ability to work shifts with reliable transport.

Qualifications

• N3 qualification is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude, with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
• Technical support experience.

Responsibilities

• Set and adjust production machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Achieve production efficiency targets of 85%–90%.
• Keep raw material wastage below 1.4%.
• Conduct mould and material trials as required.
• Identify machine and mould issues and assist with maintenance requirements.
• Ensure machinery and moulds are properly maintained, serviced, and stored.
• Monitor production to guarantee quality standards are consistently met.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Work overtime when necessary and perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor.

Requirements:

N3 qualification is essential. N4 or higher will be advantageous

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment

Technical support experience.

Proficiency with tools related to manufacturing and machine maintenance.

Willingness to work shifts.
