Job Purpose
To support SHERQ and sustainability performance across operational sites by managing non-conformances, incident investigations, recalls, and regulatory compliance, while contributing to risk assessments, continuous improvement, and strategic project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Log and track non-conformances across sites.
  • Conduct and support root cause analyses (RCAs), ensuring alignment with risk profiles and KPIs.
  • Assist in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
  • Participate in SHERQ and sustainability-related projects, providing technical and strategic support.
  • Support site teams in executing risk assessments and compliance actions.
  • Provide input into continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regulatory scanning to identify emerging SHERQ requirements and ensure proactive compliance.
  • Lead and support product recall processes, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Key Relationships

Internal:
  • Works closely with operations, risk, and sustainability teams.

External:
  • Liaiseswith auditors and supports engagements with customers on incident-relatedmatters.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required for the Job

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3-5 Years experience as a SHERQ Assurance Officer or in a similar role.
  • Tertiary qualification in Safety, Health, Environment, or Quality Management.
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards, Food Systems and legal compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of SHERQ and non-conformance systems, with practical experience using SAP and Power BI for reporting and analysis.
  • Experience in SHERQ implementation and site-level support.
  • Valid Code EB driver's license.
