Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering is required.
- 8+ years of progressive underground mining experience.
- ECSA registration is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Deswik, Vulcan and CAD tools.
- Demonstrated leadership and commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed short-term and long-term mine plans for underground operations.
- Oversee drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling activities to meet production targets.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations for underground mining.
- Manage mine planning software to optimize stope designs and production sequencing.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and mine supervisors.
