You will directly supervise miners and operators, ensuring adherence to mining plans and safety protocols. The ideal candidate has extensive underground mining experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities to drive efficiency and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in underground mining, with at least 3 in supervision.
• Proven ability to motivate a diverse workforce in a demanding environment.
• Strong knowledge of underground methods (stoping, drifting).
• Knowledge of mine safety legislation and best practices.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise underground mining crews including drill and blast, development, and production.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor production against targets and adjust plans as needed.
• Oversee safe operation of mining equipment and machinery.
