Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mine operations management.
• Professional Engineer registration or license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mine production plans.
• Supervise daily mining operations including drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage and mentor mining engineers, supervisors and staff.
• Optimize mining methods and equipment utilization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for new projects.
