Job summary
Placements24 seeks a dedicated Subsea Pipeline Engineer to join the Kimberley engineering team. You will design, analyze, install and manage the integrity of subsea pipelines for oil and gas transport, ensuring compliance with strict industry standards and safety regulations in the Northern Cape region.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with 8+ years of subsea pipeline experience, proficient in PIPESIM, OFFPIPE and FEA tools, and capable of leading
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- 8+ years in subsea pipeline engineering.
- Proficiency with PIPESIM, OFFPIPE and FEA tools.
- Knowledge of subsea hardware, installation methods and integrity management.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze subsea pipelines, route sizing and material specification.
- Perform stress, fatigue and free span analyses.
- Develop installation procedures and support offshore installation activities.
- Manage pipeline integrity including inspection and corrosion prevention.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (DNV, API).
