The role requires 8+ years in subsea engineering, strong knowledge of flowlines, umbilicals, manifolds, and trees, plus experience in project management and client engagement. Stellenbosch-based position with international exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of subsea engineering experience, with field development and project execution in Oil & Gas.
• Proven expertise in subsea hardware design, installation procedures, and integrity management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and specification of subsea field developments, including umbilicals, manifolds, trees, and flowlines.
• Oversee the fabrication, installation, and commissioning of subsea equipment and systems.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Subsea Engineer to contribute to their projects based out of Stellenbosch. This role is integral to the design, fabrication, installation, and operation of subsea production systems, ensuring optimal performance and integrity in challenging offshore environments within the Oil & Gas industry. You will lead technical aspects of subsea projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with project teams to deliver complex solutions. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of subsea equipment, field development, and project execution.
