Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Subsea Pipeline Engineer to join its offshore projects team. This fully remote role focuses on designing, analyzing, and managing subsea pipelines to ensure integrity and safety in demanding marine environments.

You will collaborate with project managers and offshore teams, review drawings, specify materials, and develop risk-based integrity strategies using digital tools. The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with offshore

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering with offshore specialization.
• 8+ years of subsea pipeline engineering experience.
• Proficiency in SACS, ABAQUS, OrcaFlex and pipeline integrity systems.
• Strong understanding of hydrodynamics, structural mechanics, and corrosion control in marine environments.
• Experience managing projects and working in remote teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design and analysis of subsea pipelines, including routing, wall thickness calculations, and stress analysis.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop integrity management strategies for subsea pipeline networks.
• Specify materials and equipment for subsea pipeline construction and installation.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers, offshore installation teams, and regulatory bodies.
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes impacting subsea pipeline engineering.
