Placements24 is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will lead the design and analysis of structural systems for buildings and infrastructure, ensuring safety, stability, and efficiency while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires strong theoretical and practical skills, experience managing remote design teams, and collaboration with architects and PMs to deliver integrated solutions from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and other structures using industry-standard software.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and reports for client and regulatory submission.
• Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers and technicians in a remote work environment.
• Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient designs.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during the construction phase as needed, ensuring designs are implemented correctly.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals to ensure compliance with design specifications.
