Placements24 is seeking a highly qualified Structural Engineer for a fully remote role that supports nationwide projects, including Vereeniging. The ideal candidate will lead design and analysis of structural components, ensuring safety, code compliance, and constructability. Collaboration with architects and project teams is essential to deliver robust solutions.

Applicants should hold Pr.Eng. registration (or international equivalent), with a 7+ years track record in structural design.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration with ECSA or equivalent international registration.
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro) and CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of material behavior, seismic design, and construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various building types and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with architectural and construction teams to ensure design intent is met throughout project execution.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction phases as needed.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
