Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead Structural Engineer to spearhead design initiatives in a fully remote setup. You will guide structural integrity across diverse projects, from high-rise to industrial facilities, acting as the technical authority and mentor.

Collaborating with architects, PMs and other disciplines, you will drive execution, ensure compliance with codes (SANS), oversee modelling, load calculations, and BIM workflows, and manage multiple remote teams delivering outstanding

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years in structural engineering with design-team leadership.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is essential.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro and BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee structural design from concept to construction.
• Perform detailed analyses and load calculations.
• Develop drawings, specs and reports for various building types.
• Mentor remote engineers and designers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve design challenges.
• Coordinate remote site inspections and quality checks.
