Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Structural Design Lead to guide the remote structural design process for complex projects. You will oversee analyses, drawings, and calculations, collaborating with design teams and clients to ensure safe, efficient outcomes.

The role requires a Master's in Structural Engineering, 10+ years of progressive design experience, and Pr Eng registration preferred. Advanced skills in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro and Revit Structure are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related Civil discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressive structural design experience.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration preferred.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro and Revit Structure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the structural design process from concept to construction docs.
• Perform complex analyses and design calculations for buildings and bridges.
• Review and approve drawings, specs, and calculations by team members.
• Ensure designs comply with codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and PMs in a remote setting.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers remotely.
