Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to join our remote-friendly team. You will design and analyze buildings and infrastructure, using SAP2000, ETABS and STAAD.Pro, and develop drawings and specifications for construction.

You will collaborate with distributed engineers and architects, ensure code compliance, and stay current with structural engineering trends while delivering high-quality projects across South Africa.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in structural design and analysis.
Proficiency with SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro and CAD/BIM tools.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for buildings and infrastructure using advanced software.
Develop detailed structural drawings, calculations, and construction specifications.
Ensure designs meet building codes, safety standards and client requirements.
Collaborate with remote engineers, architects and construction professionals via virtual platforms.
Conduct virtual reviews of designs and construction progress where applicable.
Stay updated on structural engineering advancements and software tools.
