Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Structural Engineer to join their fully remote engineering team, supporting projects in the Mossel Bay region. You will lead structural design, prep drawings, analyses, and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires a Master’s degree, Pr. Eng registration, and at least 8 years’ experience with SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro and BIM tools. Remote collaboration with architects and engineers worldwide is central.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is required.
• Pr. Eng registration required.
• Minimum 8 years of structural engineering design experience.
• Proficiency with SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro and BIM tools; knowledge of seismic design.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for diverse building and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Perform complex structural modeling and simulations under various loads.
• Collaborate with remote architects, civil engineers, and construction teams.
• Conduct peer reviews ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in the remote team.
