Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our client in Midrand, Gauteng. You will lead design and execution of complex projects, mentoring junior engineers while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will oversee structural analysis, ensure compliance with SA standards, and manage timelines and budgets in a hybrid work setup. The role offers exposure to large-scale projects in the Gauteng region.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Pr.Eng registration with ECSA is essential.
• 8+ years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency with ETABS, SAP2000 or Revit Structure.
• Strong knowledge of SA building codes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the structural design process across commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Perform in-depth structural analysis and simulations with advanced software.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Ensure designs comply with SANS and relevant regulations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with architects and contractors.
• Conduct site inspections and provide construction-phase support.
• Identify and mitigate structural risks and challenges.
• Contribute to innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
