Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering with Structural specialization.
• Professional registration as Pr.Eng (ECSA) is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive structural engineering experience focusing on road/highway infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of SANS and international design codes for bridges and highways.
• Experience in leadership and team management.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design of road and highway projects including bridges and retaining walls.
• Perform complex structural analyses and ensure design integrity per SANS and regulatory requirements.
• Develop detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Review designs by juniors and external consultants.
