The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Civil Engineering, Pr Eng with ECSA, and 8+ years of road design experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Autodesk InfraWorks. You will mentor teams and ensure compliance with SANS and SANRAL standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with transportation focus.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is essential.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in road design and infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in road design software and design standards (SANS/SANRAL).
• Strong report writing, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead geometric design of rural/urban roads, highways, and intersections.
• Perform pavement design analysis and select materials and layers.
• Develop stormwater drainage designs for road networks.
• Prepare traffic management plans and safety assessments.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and mentors.
• Prepare design reports, tender documents, and construction drawings.
