The ideal candidate holds a BEng/MEng in Civil/Structural Engineering, Pr.Eng with ECSA, and 8+ years of bridge experience, with hands-on use of STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and MIDAS Civil.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Pr.Eng registration with ECSA is essential.
• Minimum of 8 years' progressive experience in structural engineering, with bridge design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, and detailing of complex bridge structures per SANS and codes.
• Perform advanced structural calculations and simulations using state-of-the-art software.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports and tender documents.
• Conduct site investigations and provide on-site engineering support during construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure project delivery within scope and timelines.
