Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural specialization.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in structural design for buildings.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, Revit Structure).
• Strong knowledge of concrete, steel and masonry construction.
• Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various building types using structural engineering principles and software.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications for construction.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction is in accordance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Review shop drawings and respond to site queries from contractors.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant national building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.
