Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering with a mechanical focus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in structural mechanical design and analysis.
• Proficiency in FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus) and CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanics of materials, solid mechanics, and structural dynamics.
• Knowledge of material properties and behavior under various loading conditions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of mechanical components, assemblies, and support structures using FEA and other analytical tools.
• Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for structural elements.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and sound structural solutions.
• Oversee testing and validation of structural designs, interpreting results to confirm integrity.
• Troubleshoot structural integrity issues and recommend appropriate modifications or repairs.
