Placements24 is hiring a Lead Structural Engineer in Cape Town to spearhead critical civil projects from concept to construction. You will direct engineering teams, ensure safety and efficiency of designs, and collaborate with architects and contractors.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in structural engineering, 3+ years in a lead role, a Master's in Structural Engineering, and Pr. Eng. with ECSA, with proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive structural engineering experience.
• At least 3 years in a Lead Engineer role.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA.
• Proficient in SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro and CAD tools.
• Knowledge of South African building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of major civil projects in Cape Town.
• Mentor and manage a team of structural engineers.
• Develop innovative, cost-effective structural solutions.
