Job summary

Placements24 seeks a skilled Civil Engineer in East London to lead structural design and oversee construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to specifications.

You will manage the full project lifecycle from conceptual design to site supervision, collaborating with architects and contractors to resolve challenges and ensure successful delivery of infrastructure and building projects in the Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• Pr.Eng registration with ECSA or eligibility.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specs, and calculations using industry software.
• Ensure compliance with SANS and local building codes.
