Job summary

Capitec Bank Ltd. is seeking a senior full stack engineer to own end-to-end initiatives across the full application stack, from client-facing interfaces to real-time back-end processing. You will design complete architectures, mentor engineers and drive standards in a scale-focused insurance platform.

Required are 6+ years in full stack development, strong C#/.NET Core and front-end with React or Vue + TypeScript, plus AWS experience. Hybrid work model with up to 3 days in office in SA.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven full stack software development experience.

As a senior full stack engineer, you'll lead end-to-end initiatives, design complete solutions and provide technical leadership across the entire application stack – from the interface a client taps on our app to the back-end systems processing their claim in real time. What you bring

Experience

• 6+ years of proven full stack software development experience, delivering end-to-end solutions in production
• Strong back-end capability in C#/.NET Core
• Solid front-end experience with React or Vue and TypeScript
• Experience designing scalable systems in AWS environments
• A track record of leading technical decisions across the full stack – not just executing them
• Experience working in regulated or financial services environments is a strong advantageThe ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to engineers, architects and business stakeholders

Education

• Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate
• Preferred: A relevant tertiary qualification in information technology
