Job summary

Capitec Bank Ltd. is seeking a senior full stack engineer to own end-to-end initiatives across the full application stack, from client-facing interfaces to real-time back-end processing. You will design complete architectures, mentor engineers and drive standards in a scale-focused insurance platform.

Required are 6+ years in full stack development, strong C#/.NET Core and front-end with React or Vue + TypeScript, plus AWS experience. Hybrid work model with up to 3 days in office in SA.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven full stack software development experience.
• Strong back-end capability in C#/.NET Core.
• Solid front-end experience with React or Vue and TypeScript.
• Experience designing scalable systems in AWS environments.
• Track record of leading technical decisions across the full stack.
• Experience in regulated or financial services is a strong advantage.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to engineers and stakeholders.
• Genuine interest in growing the engineers around you.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end system design across the full application stack

• Design complete application architectures from the ground up

• Balance front-end UX with back-end performance – so clients feel the quality of what you build
