Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years in site engineering for civil infrastructure.
• Experience supervising construction sites and managing teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site construction activities per plans and specs.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on site.
• Monitor progress against the construction schedule and address delays.
• Conduct site inspections for quality control and workmanship.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel for smooth workflow.
• Manage site resources: labour, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for the project manager.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and work permits.
