Job summary

Optimal Growth Technologies in Johannesburg is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, implement and govern ServiceNow across environments in alignment with ITIL practices. The role emphasizes development, administration, data integration, testing and ongoing improvement within a fast-paced setting.

You will work in an agile/SAFe environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value and drive the ServiceNow roadmap forward, including automated testing and workflow

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on ServiceNow development, maintenance and administration.
• Experience in agile environments and SAFe ceremonies.
• LDAP/AD knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in technical or business field.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL and service management.

Responsibilities

• Provides tool or process solutioning recommendations to customer as needed.
• Performs operational administrative tasks as needed.
• Configures and develops on the ServiceNow instance including routine changes or configuration adjustments.
• Participates in Continual Service Improvement activities as required by customer demands.
• Configures new applications or suites during planning, development, and rollout phases.
• Collaborates with teammates to maintain platform consistency and upgradability.
• Plans and manages meetings to solicit stakeholder feedback.
• Participates in Agile and SAFe ceremonies and delivers related artefacts.
• Assists with report configuration and maintenance.
• Supports ServiceNow implementation in FedRAMP Cloud environment.
• Partners with leadership to drive a scalable ServiceNow roadmap.
• Defines next phases of the ServiceNow roadmap with customer.
• Prepares and executes ATF test cases and scripts.
• Configures and maintains data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
• Performs system and integration testing with sample and live data, monitors health and usage.
