Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a Senior Sales Operations Manager in Cape Town to help scale GTM processes, enablement, and cross-functional alignment across Commercial Operations, Product Management, and Business Operations.

You will own the end-to-end opportunity lifecycle, shape the systems landscape to support a scalable operating model, and build the central knowledge library to improve access to playbooks and precedents across GTM functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or closely related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Operations in B2B SaaS, financial services, or fund services.
• Hands-on comfort with CRM/CPQ platforms (Salesforce strongly preferred) and understanding of how systems deliver outcomes.
• Experience designing or evolving opportunity/pipeline stages and deal governance.
• Track record of building enablement or training programmes that drive adoption.
• Strong information architecture instincts; organized and current.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Product Management and Business Operations.
• Comfort with ambiguity and defining parts of the role as we go.

Responsibilities

• Own the opportunity lifecycle end-to-end across the full product portfolio and routes-to-market.
• Support systems strategy underpinning the target operating model across GTM.
• Lead learning, enablement, and adoption of systems and processes across GTM.
• Build and maintain the central librarian function for commercial artefacts and templates.
• Serve as the connective tissue between GTM, Commercial Operations, Product Management and Business Operations.
