Job summary

West Coast Personnel seeks an experienced leader to drive growth, oversee operations across contracts, and manage budgeting and profitability from Cape Town with occasional travel to Gauteng. The role combines strategy, business development and team leadership in a services-focused environment.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in outsourcing/TES, strong commercial acumen, and proven ability to deliver results while ensuring compliance and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Matric with strong commercial and operational exposure.
• BCom degree in Business Management, Finance, or similar, with commercial and operational experience.
• 10+ years experience in outsourcing, TES, or related services-driven industry.
• Proven experience managing budgets, financial performance, and profitability (P&L ownership).
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of business growth.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, and exposure to social media strategy.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Highly organised, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Own vehicle; based in Cape Town with travel to Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute business strategy to drive growth, market expansion, and new revenue streams.
• Oversee full operational performance, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and service excellence across contracts.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability.
• Drive business development, client retention, and stakeholder relationship management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop teams, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse performance data, and report on business outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with OHS, regulatory, and client-specific requirements.
