Placements24 seeks a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join a remote, global team focused on reservoir simulation and modeling. You will develop, calibrate, and apply advanced models to predict performance and optimize hydrocarbon recovery across diverse assets.

You will collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and production engineers, mentoring juniors and staying abreast of the latest numerical methods and data analytics to drive value in a remote-first environment.

Formación

• Master's degree required in a quantitative field or closely related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of reservoir engineering experience with a strong focus on simulation and modeling.
• Proven proficiency with Eclipse, CMG Suite, and Petrel RE.

Responsabilidades

• Build, run, and analyze complex reservoir simulation models for oil and gas reservoirs.
• Calibrate simulation models against historical production data, well tests, and core data.
• Develop and evaluate development scenarios including infill drilling, water/gas injection, and EOR techniques.
• Perform sensitivity analyses and uncertainty assessments to understand parameter impacts on production.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations detailing results and recommendations for asset teams and management.
• Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and production engineers via virtual tools to ensure integrated asset understanding.
• Mentor junior engineers in simulation techniques and best practices.
