Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join a fully remote team serving the George area. You will develop reservoir models, forecast production, and drive field development decisions from anywhere, with cross-functional collaboration across globally distributed teams.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on reservoir engineering experience, expertise in reservoir simulation software, and a strong grasp of fluid properties and recovery mechanisms.
Qualifications
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering or closely related discipline.
- 7+ years of hands-on reservoir engineering experience, preferably in Oil & Gas.
- Experience with reservoir simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote capacity.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed reservoir models and production forecasts for field development planning.
- Conduct economic analyses and sensitivity studies to optimize investments.
- Monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities for interventions.
- Collaborate with geologists and geophysicists to integrate subsurface data.
- Mentor junior reservoir engineers in a remote environment.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to management
