Placements24 partners with a global operator to hire a Remote Reservoir Engineer. The role centers on optimizing hydrocarbon recovery from existing fields through advanced reservoir simulation, production data analysis, and scenario planning to maximize asset value.

You will collaborate with geologists, geophysicists and drilling engineers in a fully virtual team, prepare comprehensive reports, and present findings to management and partners from your home office, enabling international project

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in reservoir engineering, with a strong focus on simulation and analysis.
• Expertise in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, CMG) and decline curve analysis tools.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects remotely.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with unconventional reservoirs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reservoir models using advanced simulation software.
• Analyze production data, well performance, and decline curves to forecast future production.
• Recommend strategies for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and production optimization.
• Conduct economic evaluations and uncertainty analysis for reservoir development plans.
• Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and drilling engineers in a virtual team setting.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings to management and partners.
