Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Reservoir Simulation Analyst to join a globally distributed team. You will develop and run complex reservoir simulation models to predict fluid flow and optimize production strategies for oil and gas assets.
The role is fully remote, enabling collaboration with geoscientists and production engineers worldwide; strong hands-on experience with Eclipse, Petrel RE, and CMG Suite is essential.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant quantitative field such as Petroleum Engineering or Geology.
- 5+ years of hands-on reservoir simulation experience.
- Experience with Eclipse, Petrel RE, and CMG Suite.
- Strong understanding of reservoir engineering principles and data interpretation.
- Programming proficiency (e.g., Python, VBA) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop, calibrate, and run complex reservoir simulation models for diverse scenarios.
- Forecast production and evaluate development options from simulation results.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations of findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with global teams and provide simulation expertise remotely.
- Stay updated on the latest reservoir simulation techniques and tools.
- Ensure data integrity and quality of model inputs.
