Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their Oil & Gas division. This fully remote role focuses on reservoir characterization, simulation, and economic evaluation to optimize asset value.

You will leverage advanced software to forecast production and evaluate recovery strategies for asset optimization. You will analyze performance, forecast production, and develop EOR plans while collaborating with geoscientists and production engineers across

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of reservoir engineering experience in Oil & Gas.
• Proficient with reservoir simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Able to work independently in a remote setting and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth reservoir characterization studies using geological and geophysical data to build static and dynamic models.
• Develop and implement integrated reservoir management plans, including production optimization and EOR strategies.
• Perform production forecasting and economic evaluations to support field development planning and investment decisions.
• Utilize reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel RE) to model fluid flow and predict reservoir behavior under various scenarios.
• Analyze well performance data, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions or interventions.
• Collaborate remotely with geoscientists, production engineers, and management to ensure alignment on reservoir objectives and strategies.
