Placements24 seeks an accomplished Senior Reservoir Engineer to join a globally distributed team working entirely remotely. The role focuses on maximizing hydrocarbon recovery through advanced reservoir characterization, simulation, and development planning.

You will analyze production data, identify EOR opportunities, and optimize field performance from a virtual environment, collaborating with geoscientists, drilling, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering with emphasis on simulation and development planning.
• Expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., CMG Suite, Eclipse) and data analysis tools.
• In-depth understanding of rock and fluid properties, reservoir characterization techniques, and well test analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; proven ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sophisticated reservoir simulation models to forecast production and evaluate development scenarios.
• Conduct performance analysis of existing fields and identify opportunities for optimization and EOR implementation.
• Perform economic evaluations of reservoir development projects, including reserve estimations and uncertainty analysis.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production teams virtually to achieve integrated asset management.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and partners.
