Placements24 in South Africa is seeking an experienced Senior Renewable Energy Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution and delivery of large-scale solar and wind projects from Kimberley, Northern Cape. Qualifications

• 8+ years in project management, with at least 5 years in renewables.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• PMP or similar project management certification is desirable.
• Familiarity with South African renewable energy policies and grid connection processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end renewable energy projects (solar PV, wind) from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (suppliers, contractors, regulators).
• Oversee permitting and environmental approval processes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage contractor performance and contract adherence.
• Monitor progress and report KPIs to senior management.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication among parties.
• Drive project success with quality and client satisfaction.
