Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years specifically in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, or hydro).
• Proven track record of managing projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, project lifecycles, and SA regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Science; PMP certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of renewable energy projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, safety, and industry regulations.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Manage project procurement and contract administration with vendors and service providers.
• Conduct site visits and technical assessments as required by the hybrid work model.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
