Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager in George, Western Cape, to lead renewable energy projects (solar and wind) from feasibility through handover. The role blends on-site work with a flexible hybrid model and requires strong leadership, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in project Mgmt within renewables, PMP/PRINCE2, and proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6. South Africa experience and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of renewable energy projects (solar, wind).
• Develop detailed plans, budgets and schedules.
• Oversee permitting, site assessments and environmental reviews.
• Manage EPC contractors, suppliers, communities, and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor progress, risks and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, finance and legal teams.
