Placements24 is seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Project Manager in Midrand to lead end-to-end renewable energy projects, from feasibility to handover. The role emphasizes strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in energy project management, a PMP or equivalent certification, and a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget in a dynamic, growth-focused company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; master's preferred.
• Minimum 7 years in energy project management, renewables focus.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead renewable energy projects from inception to handover, managing scope, budget, and schedule.
• Develop detailed plans with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and legal teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety, and environmental policies.
• Engage with government agencies, suppliers, and community stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
