Placements24 is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes in a fully remote environment. You will drive Lean, Six Sigma initiatives and coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain.

In this remote-first role, you’ll design scalable production strategies, develop SOPs, and mentor junior engineers while delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, waste reduction, and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing engineering or process optimization roles.
• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC.
• Strong production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation skills.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and quality.
• Design and implement scalable production strategies and workflows.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and technical guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, QA, Supply Chain) to resolve issues.
• Lead regular performance reviews of production lines and drive improvements.
• Oversee adoption of new technologies and equipment in production.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance across lines.
• Mentor junior engineers and production staff.
