Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Production Process Improvement Engineer to join a global manufacturing leader. You will analyze, redesign, and optimize production processes across sites, using Lean, Six Sigma, and data analytics to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality in a remote-first setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering within manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred).
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Experience with MES and ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and improvement areas.
• Develop and implement process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Design and document optimized workflows, SOPs and best practices.
• Use data analytics to measure effectiveness of changes and track KPIs.
• Collaborate with plant managers, engineers and staff to implement improvements.
• Support selection and implementation of new technologies and equipment.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
• Lead process improvement workshops and training sessions.
• Ensure all improvements meet quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Stay updated on industry advancements in manufacturing processes.
