Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Development Engineer to conceptualize, design, and optimize innovative chemical processes from a remote home office. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class process solutions and drive efficiency and sustainability across projects.
The role requires 8+ years in chemical process development, strong reactor engineering knowledge, and proficiency with Aspen Plus or HYSYS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical Engineering; PhD a plus.
- 8+ years in process development, design, and optimization in chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of reaction engineering, thermodynamics, fluids, and heat/mass transfer.
- Proficient with Aspen Plus or HYSYS for process simulation.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and develop novel chemical processes for industrial applications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and pilot plant trials to optimize parameters.
- Model process performance using Aspen Plus or HYSYS.
- Lead safety and sustainability improvements across projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
